music or soccer

Last night was our last night of music class. We have been going for over a year and just decided to take a little break from it and try something else for awhile. But last night was so much fun I started to have second thoughts, so in the car I asked Blake if he would rather do music or soccer and he said soccer. so I asked him if he has ever played soccer before (because they do so much at daycare that maybe they played it there) he said, 'no - but I eat them' ( I think he got soccer confused with sucker - lol!)

my weekend

so Blake is going thru a phase (at least I hope it's a phase) where he looks like this ALOT! He expects me to be a mind reader and if I don't do it exactly the way he wants it - he cries; and also he wants to do everything himself, and this morning I let him pour his cereal himself - hence there being so much of it, but I poured the milk and that set him off the deep end . . .

However as soon as his fit was over, he decided to do dishes, so I put some plastic bowls, his sippy cups etc. and let him go to town. I just hope we can find a happy medium with his independence and helpfullness, cause these fits are getting to be a bit much for me!

(also he is back to wanting to be naked all the time, I gave up on that fight unless we go somewhere - so call me whitetrash, but yes I am the mom that has the kid that just wears the diaper and that's it!)

My cowboys

Ted has a thing about collecting hats, all kinds and they are in the storage room. The other night Blake found 3 cowboy hats so he made us all put them on and be cowboys. Then he had to ride his horsey, that his Aunt Terra bought him (before he was even born) and kept saying, 'giddy up - I'm a cowboy'

small things

I haven't been posting much lately and as I have been reading other blogs from people who post random things, I find I really enjoy reading about random things, so I am going to attempt that - we will see how long this last???

so yesterday we were driving home from work/daycare and Blake tells me that his nose is small, but mine is big, 'you have a big nose mom', thanks Blake?, and he also informed me I have big ears, big hands, etc. . . . so I said 'is anything on me small?' he said ' your belly is small' what a sweet boy:-)

Potty Head

Yes that is the 'mini toilet seat' on Blake's head that we bought him for potty training. Since he would rather wear it on his head as a hat than sit on it on the toilet, that tells me we have a long more time in diapers!

Nosey

I had heard stories about how little boys love to put things up their nose, well the other day Blake was carrying around one of his bears (from previous posts) and then starts crying that his nose hurts, so I'm kissing it to make it feel better and then he starts crying about his eye? I told him he was falling apart . . .
He then wanted me to blow his nose - which was odd and out came one of the eyes from the bears! He stuck it up his nose! Funny - yet scary too! I laughed a little, and then told him not to stick stuff up his nose, hopefully he won't do it again!

Blake's creations

Blake LOVES to do crafty things; use scissors, markers, glue sticks etc. . . We went to a Valentine playdate where Jessica, the host, had the most adorable valentines. Most of the kids did one and then went back and played, but Blake had to do his, his own way and we got these lovely creations! He was so into it, he kept going until all of the supplies were gone! He really loved the eyes - if ya can't tell - lol!
