We (me, Terra, and Blake) spent the day, well a few hours anyway, at Wildlife Prairie Park. It was Blake's first time to actually just walk around the park, we went once just for a kids day, and honestly there is not a whole to see there.

and the most fun was riding the train. Which I had never done before. He event got to help the driver, so that was really cute to watch.

Blake and Nathan

so we were going to be watching Nathan for a few nights while his mommy was taking care of his little brother, Adam, who had to have surgery. But it ended up being only 1 night as Adam ended up getting out of the hospital early. Blake was soooo excited to have him over.


even though they don't look that happy in the photo, that is because they were mad I was taking their photo, Ted took them for a bike ride around the neighborhood.


Then we made hats, you can see Nathan wearing his. It took him about 2 minutes to get his stickers on and he said he was done. It took Blake an hour . . . I'd ask, are you done with your hat, and he said NO - I'm still decorating it. I think now every inch of the thing is covered in a sticker.

The night ended with them in my bed watching Madagascar, or move it move it - as Nathan called it. They realled did look all cute, but of course they don't stay still for photos.

so not only does Blake love scrapbooking, like me, he also likes taking photos. He unfortunately doesn't understand he is supposed to focus on a subject, but I thought these ones that he took came out pretty interesting. and pretty true to our daily lives . .

last weekend

these pics are from last weekend. On Friday, we went to a playdate on a farm, which Blake was way excited about because he LOVES tractors. Farmer Bob even let him drive in the big tractor!


On Sunday we celebrated my Grandma's 80th birthday party and got this adorable photo of Blake and all of his 2nd cousins, so all of my cousins kids (we make a lot of babies - lol! - or I guess I should say they, since only 1 is mine!)


How adorable is this photo of Blake and Abby. also she said the cutest thing. if you notice how short her bangs are, she did that job herself, and so then her mom took her to finish the do. she is so proud of her hair and likes to brag that she did it herself, so we are trying not to encourage it, but when my sister was telling her that she shouldn't cut her own hair she said 'well I just wanted it to look like Heathers'

scrapbooking

since I love to scrapbook and Blake always wanted to do what I was doing, I bought him his own desk, next to mine, and give him some of my supplies and he LOVES it. we do lots of crafty stuff and so he calls anything crafty, scrapbooking. here is one of his creations!
so last week when Blake was at my parents and he was painting he asked my mom if she scrapbooked. and then he told her that him and his mommy scrapbooked all the time and he that he loves scrapbooking - lol!

more bike riding

Blake is so into riding his bike and since it was so beautiful on Sunday, we went to bicycle safety town. Him and Ted had a blast riding all around, and I was surprised at how many people were there, a few of the kids there even had the rocket bike like Blake's (must be a popular bike Stephanie - lol!). I didn't bring my bike cause I haven't rode it in so long, I'm just to out of shape :(, but Blake kept offering me a turn on his bike, isn't he sweet!
After about an hour and half Blake was getting wore out so we went for ice cream and then home for a nap.
