Build-a-Bear

Aunt Terra wanted to take Blake to make his own teddy bear. We took him Friday afternoon. We may have been more into than he was - hehehe. First they pick out the bear, then he put a lullaby sound in it, then he stepped on the pedal to put stuffing his bear and next added the heart before we was stitched up. Blake picked a guitar for his bear too and we also got him some cool pirate pj's. One of the last stops is to put the bear under dryer to fluff him. But after that Blake was more into the dryer than the bear! He even has his own birth certificate but when I asked Blake what his name was he said 'Teddy Bear' as if it was a no brainer. So now we have Teddy!

This weekend we went to Wildlife Priarie Park for Kids Day. Grandma and Julie went with us, Julie and Blake are in the train. He really likes Julie! They had different crafts and bouncies for the kids, plus they had free pony rides. I never thought Blake would actually sit on the pony and hold on, but he did such a good job and I don't think his smile left his face for the entire ride! Then Bill the Bear came around and he got all excited and started yelling, Teddy Bear, and gave him a hug. There was also a firetruck there which he was all excited about, until we got up close to it and I wanted him to sit in the firetruck, but for some reason big trucks scare him up close. Then we walked the trails for a little bit, but he fell asleep in his stroller and slept the rest of the day. It was such a pefect day.

This photo was taken of all of us at my work's Family Picnic. We don't get family photos to often where Blake will stay still - so this was pretty exciting! When we drove up to the picnic Blake saw the lagoon with the all the ducks and got all excited and then saw the giant bouncer and got more excited and then said "I want to get out and run around in circles"??? That is what is so cute about him - it's the simple things in life like running around in circles that makes him happiest!

Blake's bike

Blake's favorite thing lately is to ride his bike! I bought this from someone in the moms group that was moving, but it his one of his favorite gifts. He always says, 'I want to go home and ride that bike' I just think it is really funny that way he always calls it 'that bike'???
