Blake and Brandon

Blake had so much fun with his cousin Brandon over Easter. Brandon taught Blake how to throw sticks over the deck and into the lake and Blake was all about being with Brandon. I felt sorry for Brandon at times cause if he wasn't with Blake for even a second, Blake was yelling, 'Brandon where are you?'

My Cake

I saw this cake online, on someone's blog (some random when I goggled for another cake) I thought it was so cool I made it for Easter. Most of my guests thought it was just a bowl with m&m's - lol! just showing off my domestic abilities!

Mission Organization

so this was our basement. It actaully started out pretty nice, with a bar and the big tv, was supposed to be a good place to hang out. Well then we had so many toys that I was always sticking toys down there and the next thing ya know - this is what it looked like! I also have an area down there that I scrapbook in and so me and Blake would go down there once in awhile for that, but it got to the point that Ted did not want to go down there at all.

so I went to Big Lots and bought this cube/shelf thing for all of Blake's toys and TA DA!

Darn you

Big Lots scrapbooking aisle!!!! I ran into Big Lots today during lunch to buy a cube organizer thing for our basement. I tried to just go to my item, check out, and leave, but there was a line and I thought I'll just browse their scrapbook stuf - note I have already gone to Hobby Lobby this week, so of course I don't need any scrapbook stuff, but scrapbook stuff is one my big weaknesses. everything his like $2 or so, so you grab one of these and then one of those, etc... and the next thing you know you have spent $20 (or more) on stickers and stuff!!! so yes I caved and got some letter stickers and a bunch of chipboard stuff and now I'm feeling guilty that I wasn't strong; what can I say: I'm weak???

Blake LOVES going to his Auntie's house, playing in her big yard and with her dog, Spartacus, and cats, which he was renamed dinno (aka - Dimino) and Zenna (aka Zenith). Last week she had him over for a sleep over and then watched him during the day while I was working and she e-mailed this photo. She said he asked for milk in his bowl with no cereal and then he put it on the floor and said he was a doggy liked Spartacus!

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to the Easter Egg Hunt this morning at the FRC. Blake got so excited when he saw the Easter Bunny and said 'will you take a picture of me with that rabbit' (yeah so excited cause ya know I love takin pictures)


of course he loved getting the eggs with candy!

MIA

Saturday morning me, my mom, and Blake went garage saleing and I got Blake a Care Bear DVD, I bought quite a few things come home take everything out of the bag and start sorting through them, etc. - thought I remember seeing the dvd, but when I went to play it for Blake - can't find it???? I have looked high and low for that dvd - it's MIA. I'm so annoyed by this . . . it's as if I blog about it, it will magically appear.
the other reason this is bugging me is cause I bought this shirt about a year ago that I loved and I never wore it and it became MIA. I searched for it in my closet, practically clearing the whole closet out, and the laundry room - never found it. I even went to the store to buy a new one - none in my size! so this mia dvd reminds me of that and makes me wonder - where are these things going????
